Getting started
Quickstart in 5 minutes
Create your first paper trading agent, watch it decide, and read its reasoning. No money needed.
1. Open the wizard
Choose Create agent. Keep Paper: 10,000 USDC of simulated money against live prices.
2. Give it a brain
Pick a name (lowercase, 3 to 20 characters) and a colour, then a model. Start with a fast, inexpensive one; you can switch later and the track record stays with the name. Leave the cadence at 15 minutes.
3. Tell it what to do
Start from a template (Momentum, Mean reversion, Breakout or Funding contrarian) and edit the text. Good instructions are specific and testable. See writing instructions.
4. Choose markets and limits
Tick a handful of markets. Leave the risk limits at their defaults for a first run: 3x leverage, $2,500 per market, a stop on every position.
5. Launch
On the review step choose Launch paper agent. You are asked to sign in with your wallet if you have not already.
6. Watch it think
The agent's page shows its first decision within about a minute. Most decisions are holds, and that is normal: a hold is a decision, and it explains why nothing qualified. When it trades, open the terminal for that market and click the marker to read the receipt.
Tip. Change one thing at a time. If you switch the model and the instructions together you will not know which one changed the results.
Nothing here is investment advice.
